How to Determine a "Slow Roller" Keyword There are a few different things that you should focus on when creating slow roller campaigns, and the first thing to consider are the keywords that you are using. In order for this technique to be successful, you need to build campaigns containing only highly relevant keywords that contain no less than 3 words. For example, let's use the dog training campaign again. Here is an example ad group that we could create. Train Pug: -Learn how to train pug , - Learn how to train pug guide , - Guide on pug training , - Pug puppy training guide -Learn how to train my pug, - Training my pug , -Potty training my pug , -House training my pug -Train my pug tricks , - Pug training e-book Coming up with those 10 keywords took literally 1 minute to do. Double that and you'll be spending 2 minutes a day to think of 20 "Slow Roller" keywords. Can you spare 2 minutes a day to earn $52,450 ? Then you could create more relevant ad group containing like keywords: Train pug To : -Train my pug to sit , -Potty train my pug , -Train my pug not to bite , -Train pug not to bite -Train put to roll over , -Train pug to hell , -Train pug to use litter box , - Train pug to stop barking -Train pug to stop peeing , -Train pug to stop biting In just under two minutes we have already created two ad groups with 20 highly relevant, slow-roller keywords. Don't think that the work is done here. In order for you to complete a conversion within any ad group, you need to drive your visitors to a relevant landing page that contains information targeted to the keywords. If you have the keyword "Train pug to heel" in your ad group, you should have supporting content on your web page that talks about training a pug to heel and products that can be used tor perform this task. If you miss this crucial step and just send all your traffic to a generic page, this technique will not work. Remember, if you are persistent with this technique you can easily create a revenue stream of $52,450 profit, so it is definitely worth the time to create quality campaigns! Here is a break down of the difference between broad keywords & Slow Roller / Long Tail. Board keywords: -Learn piano , -Internet Marketing , -Dog training ,-Golf Swing ,-Download Music , -Make Money Lets take a very broad keyword like piano, and turn it into a "Slow Roller" keyword. Piano => high traffic => low conversions Learn Piano => High traffic => Average conversions Program to Help Learn Piano => Lower traffic , but high conversions (SLOW ROLLER) This may come as a huge shock to you. THE CHEAPEST way to receive PPC (Pay-Per-Click) traffic is actually the same way that we achieve super high conversions in the world of Affiliate marketing. The reason 90% of Internet marketers fail is because they are too concerned with driving a large amount of traffic to their site rather than focusing on driving highly targeted traffic to their pages. Another important thing to understand is that 90% of the people that are failing are promoting broad, un-targeted keywords. These people are spending much more money per click than the 10% that are highly profitable. Off the top of our heads, we can think of one of these keywords, "Make Money". That's right! This is one of the keywords that the 90% promote, but do not make a dime from. you are looking at well over $2.00 to obtain top positioning with this keyword, and unless you are making $200/sale and you have an excellent sales page, this will send you to the load shark pretty quick . Trust us, we have seen many new advertisers "lose their shirts" to this exact keyword, and it sent their campaigns (and often times their career in Internet marketing) into the graveyard. The less competition, the less you are going to pay for traffic under any keyword. This means that if you have an ad displaying under a highly targeted , longer tail keyword like "top internet marketing resource online" , you are going to have limited competition. Also you CPC is going to be low and your ad will achieve a high position within the search results . You may only get 1 click per day with this keyword (where you would have gotten hundreds with term "internet marketing"), but your traffic is highly relevant and your competition is sparse. | |
